Hey there. I’m Nyla Akinyi, literature teacher by profession, novel enthusiast, and the girl who thought, “You know what the internet needs? More book talk!” So here we are.

When I’m not walking students through Shakespearean drama or trying to convince them that yes, Animal Farm is actually about more than talking pigs, I’m probably curled up with a good book or overanalyzing a character’s life choices like they’re my own cousin.

This site is my little corner of the web where I share thoughts, ideas, and maybe the occasional rant, all in the name of literature. It’s not a classroom, but if you leave here thinking a little harder about a story, or itching to pick up a new novel, then mission accomplished.
